When enough is enough? What is the threshold at where rewards serve its purpose and do not encourage greed? What is the threshold at where the extent of punishment serves its purpose and do not cause one to turn even harsher, and against things which governs (e.g. the juridical law which is based on morals, ethics, moral principles, biblical law etc.). Nothing more but yet nothing less.
Are we feeding the greed of individuals or are we soothing and getting the individuals feel appreciated? (Pardon for my grammatical errors, currently under the stress in PTSD outbreak....)

overreaction: e.g. animal abuse cases

This is why it is important not to overreact. The above just happened to be an example of such instances when there's an overreaction. What's the use of sending death threats? At its best, it just give the notion that there are some ppl like that out there. At its worst, it undermines the effort to bring such cases to light and to legal jurisdictions. I have heard of comments such as "why are they so uptight about..." or "why are they so against about..." about animal defenders activities. It's the way that the animals were treated, which shows the kind of attitude towards animals that puts us off. Such as in the finning of sharks (http://www.stopsharkfinning.net/) where sharks were being finned alive and were then thrown back to the sea to die a slow death. No doubt there are ppl out there who oppose just for the sake of opposing and etc. But what is the most important? At least from my point of view, the prevention of such cases of brutal cruelty from happening again.

By the way, this person is a different person from the one i mentioned in the earlier post. Actually, I've heard the name Sharon many times, like after Rachel (that Rachel which is not my friend) couldn't keep up the act anymore because the orignal--me, clarified things, Sharon's name would pop up among conversations.--fb status 3/1/2013
Didnt intend to type this para...And someone beat me (metaphorically) to it---typing the below-- for the person feared that I would reveal it ...I knew that those imposters with ulterior motives were thinking of imitating one of my merits each. jiajun: guzheng(but he couldn't keep up with my 快指); rachel: wisdom (but she didnt realised that most of it is based on biblical truths, I juz saw a parallel of what's happening to His teachings), another guy: piano (I spent 4 hrs per day for ard 9 months perfecting those pieces with the foundation of learning piano since pri 4) etc... (those ppl shld thank God that that's all I can recall for now. To say the truth, I didnt not try hard to recall. And these things I usually didn't try to remember for what's the use of remembering it)

And stop using the rumour about the eyes thingy again, to justify one's behaviours, for the source of it can be found. Even if it is a believe, that is, if those who support the saying that the eyes should be dug out, this believe can be overturned for it's a gross misunderstanding of the biblical verse. At this stage, if they use the rumours and try to justify their actions to relieve themselves of the blame, it's not justification but self-rationalisation.
