Indulgence begets greed and over reliance. esp. indulgence in materialistic things.

For certain norms, being the norm doesn't mean it's alright to do so...and it'll be great if there are these types of novels but without those elements that aim to attract more readers... (I may not be making sense to those who thinking of increasing sales but yup...no offense)
